16th December Session: ECC's Holyrood Election Selection Information Session

The Scottish Greens need YOU to consider standing in Holyrood elections scheduled for 2026! Need more information or encouragement? We’ve got you covered.

Join our co-leader Lorna Slater for a session that will tell you more about what it’s like to campaign for Holyrood and what the working life of an MSP involves.

This registration page is for the session on the 16th December from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

This session is intended to complement the recent Policy Committee/MSP update session but will have a different focus – Elections and Campaigns Committee reps will be on hand to answer any questions about internal selections.

We want to encourage all members to put themselves forward for selection to the regional list, and we particularly welcome those from under-represented groups. We've included a range of timeslots to be as accessible as possible. Other training sessions for candidate support and development will follow in the Spring.

Sessions for members who belong to groups which are unrepresented in politics, e.g. women, young people, disabled people, ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ people, will be taking place on the 16th December from 12:30pm to 1:30pm and 21st January from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

A session for all members is happening on the 8th February from 11am to 12pm.
